Purgatory Opiniones sobre la estación de esquí

Esquío desde el 76. En la universidad, en Alta, vivía de lo lindo y dormía en la caja de una camioneta para poder coger nieve cuando no tenía dinero. Purgatory me hace sentir como en una película clásica de Warren Miller, ¡con acceso a modernos parques de nieve con rampas de medio pico! Purgatory es muy accesible desde Texas, tiene mucha historia y encanto. Durango es una ciudad estupenda donde podría jubilarme. ¡Hagan una estancia allí y bajen de la montaña un día para descansar y visitar Durango y las ciudades de los alrededores! Hay muchísimas cosas que hacer. ¡Está en mi top 10!

• Una montaña magnífica con muchísimas pistas y mucho espacio. Ofrece una gran variedad de actividades para toda la familia. El personal es excelente. Desde enero, la nieve es constante y siempre hay oportunidad de disfrutar de nieve polvo.
• Como en la mayoría de los centros turísticos de Colorado, el consumo de marihuana es un tema delicado para las familias conservadoras. Necesitan establecer zonas designadas para fumadores, de las que se pueda mantener alejados a los jóvenes.

Un lugar estupendo, ideal para familias. Fácil acceso desde el pueblo. Las carreteras están en muy buen estado y se limpian de nieve con eficacia. Solemos alojarnos entre la montaña y el pueblo. Hay restaurantes estupendos. La gente es encantadora. Me encanta este lugar.

• Cerca del pueblo. Montaña de buen tamaño. Remontes rápidos y sin colas por toda la montaña. Gente estupenda. ¡Muy agradable!
• Sinceramente, no le encuentro ninguna desventaja.

Gran montaña

WE love Durango and Purgatory! Great town and super friendly locals and visitors on the mountain!!! Its a surprisingly large ski area and never has disappointed ... spend a lil bit more and stay at the main lodge or if a a bigger group stay at the amazing Elk Point properties ( we need!! pretty nice!!)

great snow. plenty of choices for runs. good value

Overall a pretty good resort. It can get really busy on weekends. I also thought that a lot of these runs were pretty difficult for beginners but they did have lots of lifts running which helped with the crowds.

• Parking can be difficult if you aren’t there early. The runs felt difficult for beginners

If it’s a busy day you better be early or you maybe be driving around for a long time to find a parking spot v you can go up and drop everyone off but you might be parking down the road although there are multiple shuttles. Lift 4 is a 20 minute ride which seems forever especially when ski school starts using it. Overall it was an amazing place with a vast amount of trails to try and never felt crowded at all. Highly recommend this place!

This has been our best family vacation! It’s a family friendly environment and the staff have treated us so good. The kids enjoyed everything about the snow ❤️

• Great family atmosphere! Everyone is so helpful and nice. Great place for kids. The weather has been beautiful. And the private ski instructor Michael Mote was the absolute best! He was great with the kids.
• Nothing really. I would advise getting groceries and whatever needed for your stay before check in because town is a little drive but not terrible.
