Empinado y profundo
Largo viaje en góndola pero bonita

This resort has very nice ski/ride terrain. Kind of like a mini-Colorado or "B" level resort. The rolling twisting runs make it more interesting than the typical straight, "bowling alley" runs at most resorts. The snow seems good. The value delivered is very high. However, the whole "ski area" experience is really lacking. There is NO apres ski or nightlife—no upbeat energy in the area. The resorts rooms are getting a bit dated and their rates do not reflect demand. We explored staying in the resort room's when we saw their $79/night plus lift ticket rate. When we tried to make a reservation the price bumped up to $372 PER PERSON. Here is the kicker, when we arrived at the resort the rooms were EMPTY! The Fairbridge Suites next door to the resort has maybe 100+ rooms, there were two cars in the empty parking lot, with rates still at full price. Not sure what is going on here, but I can vouch that the "off hill" experience, resort, nightlife, restaurants, etc. are all way off and not very entertaining. The actual skiing and terrain is surprisingly good and the lift tickets reasonable. So come for the hill, bring your own fun, enjoy the views and spend your time on the hill versus hotel.
Great varied, rolling terain
A bit "off", not typical ski town energy or any kind of upbeat vibe at the base

Love the terrain, wish they had better snow. Was great in December.
Lots of different types of terrain.
Rarely good snow.

The local vine make this mountain great
Awesome mountain with a wide variety of different terrain and hidden pockets of fun.

This mountain's steeps and snow will rival any resort. Not a lot of cliffs/boulders/rocks to enjoy. Snow is good to great depending, gets a bunch of powder and holds it well. The hike to Wardner is worth the trip and untouched lines. My personal favorite.
Steeps and trees
Big mountain terrain

Great place. A hidden secret!
The ultimate north Idaho family ski resort!
Nightlife. This will change once this town is discovered and upgraded

Great family hill!
Varied terrain for all skiers.
Mountain lifts need to be upgraded.

When all runs are open, it's a blast. I love the Gondola ride that gets you excited to board/ski. Also, it is not a fancy place, and it really makes you focused on the beautiful views and runs they offer! The people here have never been rude, and the bunny hill for new learners is very nice.
The drive there is easy
usually the runs are coated in ice, not all of them though.

Silver Mountain is a great family friendly ski area that appeals to everyone at all levels. It is convenient with the Gondola in Kellogg. It offers amazing views of the Bitteroot Mountain range and the Silver Valley. They are willing to work with people and groups to provide a great overall experience from skiing, snowboarding, swimming, etc. You must give it a try!
Beautiful, Convenient, Friendly, Varied terrain
