Catamount es una montaña impresionante para la zona. Ofrece una gran variedad de terreno, desde una larga pista verde que baja por la cresta hasta pistas negras dobles realmente empinadas. Le di 3 estrellas en la categoría de "terreno para todo tipo de pistas" simplemente porque no suele nevar lo suficiente como para disfrutar del terreno fuera de las pistas con cañones de nieve, pero cuando nieva, el terreno es fantástico. La misma calificación para el après-ski se debe a que no hay tanta vida nocturna como en otras montañas, pero hay dos bares agradables, música en vivo los fines de semana y una estupenda terraza al aire libre con hogueras. He visto algunas quejas sobre el precio y las colas, pero creo que son totalmente infundadas. Los precios de los forfaits y pases son de los más asequibles que hay, y las colas suelen ser muy razonables y mucho más cortas que en otras montañas. Ocasionalmente, hay que esperar un poco más para comprar forfaits o alquilar equipos los fines de semana concurridos, pero así son las cosas a veces en las estaciones de esquí. Además, cada año trabajan para mejorar todo, desde los edificios hasta los remontes, los cañones de nieve, el parque de nieve, etc. En general, una montaña estupenda, ideal para familias, gente amable, terreno divertido, buena producción de nieve y buenos precios.

He ido a Catamount casi todos los años desde que tenía dos años. Crecí aquí y me encanta. Tienen muchas pistas verdes excelentes, también algunas azules fáciles y otras difíciles. Sin embargo, no hay muchas pistas negras, y las que hay son prácticamente azules difíciles. 8/10

Catamount is a good local mountain but they raised their prices. Week day and half day tickets doubled in price compared to last year. Snow making and grooming has declined and can’t compare to where it was in the past. They are definitely experiencing operational issues this season.

I have enjoyed coming here for many years. Easy parking, fair pricing, and on weekdays, is like having the mountain to yourself. I have only two critiques: First, the website and purchasing format, is awful. Too many confusing and unnecessary steps to make a reservation. Second, the lifts are painfully slow. On COLD and windy days, it feels like an eternity up in those chairs. When Catamount was taken over by new ownership, they immediately put a lot of money and effort into its redevelopment. I was hoping that high speed lifts were among the investments! That said, the grooming and trail diversity alone, makes it worth the trip...

I came to Catamount in January 2017 for a quick day of skiing. The area has had no snow at all, but the snowmaking was decent. Conditions aside, the skiing is quite good. However, the facilities are in serious need of updating. The facilities are extremely old and outdated. The main "lodge," and I hesitate to call it that, had 3 toilets in the main restroom, with old, creaky doors that barely worked. The cafeteria was very small, did not have anywhere near enough seating, and again just very outdated. It's fine for a quick ski day, but don't expect much. I will not be returning.

I am a good expert skier, skied all my life and this mtn is good enough for a quick getaway for making turns. Its not Vail but it has a few decent trails to make tracks on. Bumps form on some of the trails if thats your deal, but there are some nice longish runs to make some nice GS turns too. Go Play!

overall i really enjoy this mountain. its small, but very cheap. offers great night skiing. great for skiers or snowboarders just starting out. overall well maintained.
