Una estación de esquí maravillosa con pistas excelentes en un entorno precioso. ¡El descenso desde la cima hasta el valle es una experiencia inolvidable! ¡Muy recomendable!

VAROVÁNÍ!!!!! pokud žijete v EÚ a platíte eurem , hrozí vám , že jedním kliknutím při nákupu skipasu vás doslova okradou o cca30-40euro. Je to velmi jednoduchý system na kterém vydělává banka v Rakousku. Pokud mluvíte německy tak to až tak nehrozí,(pokladní asi zadá platbu v Euru) ale s angličtinou je to horší, Stane se vám, že vás pokladní požádá a zadánáni pinu(platíteli kartou)ale nedá vám možnost si vybrat platbu v USD či Eurách. Vy zaplatíte kartu a na bločku máte cenu v Eurách, ale při výpisu z banky zistíte, že jste platil v USD . Rakouská banka tak vydělá na kurzovém rozdílu

It is pretty nice to ski there but I would more recommend this area for families and beginners. This area is not so big but near Sillian there are also other areas like Obertilliach or in Lienz where you have got great opportunities for skiing. So it would be possible to change skiing areas easily if you stay a longer time in this place. The area is clear arranged. Most of the slopes are red and blue but there are also some difficult runs. The possibility for off pist skiing are rather rare. What I really liked is the run down to the valley because it is very long and you have a beautiful view. They also have a snowpark but with very difficult kicker lines so nothing for beginners. The locals are very friendly there. They are surrounded by beautiful nature and there are a lot of possibilities to do beside skiing for example you can go for the evenings to Lienz what is a quite nice small town. I think it is a nice place to be if you do not like to go to very crowded areas.

Im schönen Osttirol lässt es sich auch ganz gut Skifahren. Es sind zwar meist kleiner Gebiete die sich zum Skifahren anbieten dafür sehr Familienfreundlich und auch die Einheimischen sind sehr Gastfreundlich. Das Skigebiet eignet sich eher mehr für Anfänger und gemütliche Skifahrer die gerne auch hektischen Skigebieten entfliehen wollen. Das Gebiet ist sehr übersichtlich jedoch kann man auch sehr lange Abfahrten unternehmen bis ins Tal sind es 1300hm Unterschied eine sehr lange Abfahrt die wirklich Spaß macht und wo man eine schöne Aussicht genießt. Der Snowpark ist ganz interessant aber weniger für Beginner. Wo ich dort war hatte ich das Glück genügend Schnee vorzufinden jedoch kann ich mir vorstellen, dass auf Grund der niedrigen Lage manchmal widrige Schneeverhältnisse herrschen könnten. Es bietet sich an wenn man in der Gegend von Sillian stationiert ist auch die Gegend zu erkunden und Skigebiete in der Nähe ausprobiert zB in Obertilliach oder Zettersfeld direkt bei Lienz.
