Jay Peak Opiniones sobre la estación de esquí

Ojalá tuvieran mejores opciones para cenar.

La estación está bien ubicada y cuenta con un buen desnivel. Los remontes están distribuidos de forma que parece que hay tres estaciones separadas, lo que permite una mejor distribución de los esquiadores. Se puede acceder a las tres bases sin tener que caminar. La comida es normalita, sobre todo comida basura. Un lugar precioso para esquiar con una nieve de excelente calidad.

En Jay, encontrarás de todo: claros, pendientes pronunciadas, acantilados, etc., y la mejor nieve de la costa este. Recibe incluso más nieve natural que muchas estaciones del oeste, pero su baja altitud provoca frecuentes ciclos de congelación y deshielo, por lo que se acumula menos nieve natural. La cima de la montaña suele estar cubierta de niebla y las pistas preparadas están heladas. No esperes muchos días soleados en Jay.

Jay Peak is my favorite mountain to go to. Great snow, usually in march. Best Mountain On The East Coast.

• The lodge isn’t great

If you’re a good skier and like off-piste stuff, Jay Peak is absolutely a destination! They frequently get knee deep powder and the wood trails are some of the best in the country!

This is great for family and great for expert skiers ( mostly children ) because they have lots of woods and as an expert skier this is great for experts and intermediates. The only reason this isn’t the best for beginners is because there will be racers and intermediate/expert skiers speeding down the green and blue trails.

• Not great for riders my husband is a snowboarder and we were constantly waiting for him to catch up

I think is fine for a family and pro skiing the prices are too high and service is not good. The food is Awful, no espresso, no gym in the hotel, no hot tub in the hotel no Stem room in the hotel? Stowe and white face have this. If your European don’t go.

We were there for what has to be the coldest I've ever been - windchill at negative 17 (and that's being generous). But I still manages to have an amazing lesson with Clare who was just the kindest and most encouraging person, despite the conditions. Serious snowfall made for fun in the powder.

• Excellent Lessons!

Overall I loved the experience, there is so much pow!!! The descent is really fun. The scenery is sooo beautiful, but unfortunately I don't think this resort is best for snowboarding. Due to the terrain and lack of incline, multiple times I (and other riders) had to undo our bindings in order to move.
